Future Green Studio

Waverly Place Penthouse

Manhattan, NY

This green wall and water feature sit atop the 19th floor of a penthouse terrace in Lower Manhattan.

Framed by the client’s bedroom window, the living wall is the focal point of the garden. The distinctive vertical plantings consist of groundcovers, grasses and perennials which present a shifting seasonal landscape of color and texture.

The green wall panels were pre-grown three months before installation. Irrigation pipes run to each 2ft x 2ft panel to provide adequate moisture and nutrients.
