Prior to joining Future Green Studio, Tyler worked as an estate gardener on Maine’s famed Mount Desert Island. Home to Acadia National Park and many other public and private green spaces, the island has a heritage rich in agriculture and preservation. By incorporating native plants and stone, Tyler designed, installed, and maintained landscapes with a focus on naturalization. At Future Green, Tyler is responsible for the installation and implementation of the studio’s designs. With a BFA in painting and sculpture from James Madison University, Tyler approaches projects from an aesthetic angle, combining the fields of art, design, and environmentalism.
